Ruhnu community centre, in the years 1945–59 the community centre operated in a school house. The new building was completed in July 1959. Its hall accommodated far more listeners and watchers than the number of island´s inhabitants. The building had a sauna, guesthouse, club and canteen and it was surrounded by a pleasance. A small singing choir, folk-dance troupe, men quartet and artistic gymnastic club operated in the public house. Ruhnu community centre was destroyed in the fire of 1970 June.

The present community centre was completed in the beginning of 2007. Cultural events, dance nights, exhibitions, receptions, movie nights etc. are organized in the public house.
